Free social share preview check
What does your link look like when someone shares it?
Every time a customer posts your website on Facebook, LinkedIn or texts it to a friend, the app builds a preview card. See yours, and fix a missing image, a cut-off title or a blank description. Results in about 5 seconds, no sign-up.
Headline
The share title and description, and whether they'll be cut off.
Image
Whether there's a share image, that it loads, and that it's big enough for the large banner preview.
Polish
X (Twitter) large-image card, site name, favicon and phone home-screen icon.
Questions
Why does the share preview matter?
Word of mouth now happens in Facebook groups, Nextdoor and text messages. A link with a clear headline and a large image gets far more clicks than a bare web address or a preview with the wrong picture.
I fixed it but Facebook still shows the old preview.
Facebook caches previews. Paste your address into Facebook's Sharing Debugger (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug) and click "Scrape Again". LinkedIn has the same tool, called Post Inspector.
What's in the full report?
Your share tags written out with your own title, description and image, where to paste them (or which setting to use) in your website builder, image size guidance, and 10 re-checks. It's $9, one time.
