Questions about email delivery
Why are my business emails going to spam?
The most common reason is missing or broken SPF, DKIM or DMARC records. These DNS records prove to Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook that an email really comes from your business. Since 2024 Gmail and Yahoo filter or reject mail that can't be verified, so quotes, invoices and replies quietly end up in spam.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
SPF is a list of the servers allowed to send email for your domain. DKIM adds a tamper-proof signature to each email. DMARC tells receiving servers what to do with mail that fails those checks, and sends you reports. Together they stop scammers from sending email as you and help your real email reach the inbox.
What does the free check look at?
Your domain's public DNS records: mail server (MX) records, SPF (including the 10-lookup limit and whether your email provider is included), DKIM keys for your provider and common sending services, and your DMARC policy and reporting. It also detects your email provider and where your DNS is managed.
What do I get in the full report?
The exact DNS records to add or change for your domain, built from your current settings and email provider, step-by-step instructions for your DNS host (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, Wix, Squarespace and others), how to turn on DKIM with your provider, and 10 re-checks to confirm everything passes. It costs $19, paid once.
Will this guarantee my email reaches the inbox?
No one can honestly guarantee inbox placement. Spam filters also look at what you send and how people respond to it. Correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC are the baseline that Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook expect, and without them even good email is at risk.
Do you send anything to my inbox or need my password?
No. The check only reads public DNS records that anyone can look up. We never send test emails or ask for passwords. Results are saved under a private link, and unpaid results are deleted after 30 days.
